When it comes to web design, I believe in the K.I.S.S. philosophy. A web-site should be as simple as possible, while allowing you the owner, to have a creative, stylistic, and informative web site. This gives your visitors a site that is easy to read and a pleasure to navigate. A site where they can find all the information they are looking for about you.
These are very basic rules to go by, so if it does not help your visitors to act on your desired outcome, then there is no place for it on your website.
The perfect design, page structure, and site simplicity mean very little without effective content. That’s what your audience is there for. They keyed in your address or found it from a search engine because they are in need of your information. If you do a good job of convincing them that you have what they need, your call to action will be successful.

Not only is properly placed, effective content crucial to the success of your web site, but it is also important to keep it updated on a regular basis. Give people a reason to come back by keeping your content current and making sure the public knows about it. Some ways of adding new content would be through a “latest news” section, email blasts, or a blog. We will create a way for your audience to keep coming back time after time.
There are many WYSIWYG software programs and hosting sites that allow you to build a web site. If you should choose to do that, make sure your site will look the same on the many browsers and resolution settings that are being used. Not everyone is using the latest version of their browser and there are many popular browsers in use. There are many different screen resolutions, monitor sizes and styles (i.e. a widescreen monitor).
I write most of my code from scratch. As compared to using an editor such as Word that generates you a very sloppy code. That type of code is readable on some browsers, but only a few. The rest require a very strict type of code called XHTML.
